I’m active in sessions, and my style is warm and conversational. My work draws from psychodynamic, analytic, relational and affirmative therapeutic models, but I am not a zealot of any particular modality. The work I do with you in the room will be based on who you are. My role is to help constellate your experiences by finding connecting elements and patterns as they emerge in our work together and to provide perspective that might help.

I’m a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT #130265) and graduated from Antioch University with my MA in clinical psychology with a specialization in depth psychology. I also have an MA in writing and a BA in psychology from USC. I received psychoanalytic-oriented training at the Valley Community Counseling Clinic, a low-fee clinic that centers analytic therapeutic techniques.

A large part of the learning I’ve done has been through my own experiences as a client in therapy, working with an eclectic group of talented clinicians over time. Modeling is one of the most impactful ways to learn, and I continue to do my own therapeutic work to grow as a therapist and as a person.
