Adults - Romantic Partners - Creative Collaborators - Friends - Co-parents - Teenagers

Through exploration of the complexities of relationships and the unconscious aspects of our inner realities, my work with clients focuses on how the external and internal meet and interact. By considering varied motivations and desires, therapy can allow for creative alternatives to emerge, and can increase our ability to hold and validate paradoxical elements of ourselves. Acknowledgement and integration of these contradictions can bring acceptance and change.

Societal and cultural pressures affect each of us differently. I practice in a way that acknowledges the impact of systemic oppression and intergenerational trauma on individuals and communities. I know that when you walk into the room, you bring with you experiences I have never had. I believe that you are the expert on your own lived experiences and are an agent of change in your own life.

The relationship between client and therapist is one that allows for self-discovery and experimentation. It’s a collaborative exchange that can be spontaneous and surprising. While therapy can bring up difficult feelings and memories, it can also inspire play, insight, and imagination. I work with individuals and dyads of all kinds to come to better self-understanding and create more satisfying relational dynamics.

Sessions are 50 minutes, and cost $175. I don’t accept insurance, but can provide a monthly “superbill” that you can submit to insurance for reimbursement, depending on your plan. If you are interested in pursuing this option, we can discuss important questions to ask your insurer to understand what coverage is available to you and other factors to consider.

Due to Covid-19, I am currently offering telehealth sessions only via video or phone.
